About Finch
Finch is building the next generation of consumer law, starting with personal injury. Finch paralegals leverage proprietary legal AI agents to handle the busy work on each case, so firm owners can serve more clients. We’re building a more accessible future that increases access to justice nationwide.
Backed by Sequoia and the founders & CEOs of DoorDash, Ironclad, and Digits, we are a small but ambitious team looking for a Founding Sales Lead to drive our direct sales efforts with law firms. This role is critical in building our initial pipeline, developing the outbound motion, and refining the sales playbook that will help us scale. The ideal candidate has experience owning a robust pipeline, thrives in high-velocity environments and is eager to build the sales motion from 0 to 1 at an early-stage company redefining a legacy industry.
What will you do?
- Own outbound sales efforts — identify, prospect, and reach out to law firms via phone, email, and in-person meetings
- Set meetings and build pipeline — act as the first point of contact for prospective customers and qualify leads
- Attend key industry conferences to engage potential customers and drive interest in Finch
- Develop and iterate on the sales playbook, experimenting with different outreach strategies to determine what works best
- Work closely with product and operations to provide customer feedback and refine our offering
- Collaborate with the CEO to define a closing playbook, scale successful sales strategies, and help hire future team members
- Operate in-person from our NYC office four days a week (unless traveling)
What skills and experience do you need?
- 2+ years experience in high-volume outbound sales or SDR/BDR roles, ideally in legal tech, SaaS, or professional services. Strong preference for some AE experience as well.
- Strong cold outreach skills (phone, email, LinkedIn) and ability to book meetings with decision-makers
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to engage law firm partners
